You’re in good company. Most people don’t love being in front of the camera.
I’m not looking to turn you into someone you are not. But what I will do, is make it fun.
Think less photo session, and more laughing with a new friend. Someone you just had have at your wedding.
And for all you neuro-spicy weirdos like myself, I can’t wait to capture your beautiful, quirky soul, in all your glory.

We do both! During the designated photos sessions I will direct you with very simple and natural prompts and poses.
We have a lot of fun during the sessions which allows great candid oppurtunities. They are often my favorite photos and pair so well with the classic and editorial portraits.
But most of the day I simply document you day as it unfolds will I look for unique perspectives and moments.
Most wedding photographers work this way, and even the few true photojournalist wedding photographers still pose their couples for at least a few standard pics.
Some of my couples want more documentary style with very little posed portraits while others provide me with a large Pinterest Board of poses. Guess what, I friggin’ love it. I can’t wait to hear your vision.

We have so many great photographers here in Pittsburgh. But the energy and experience I provide really does set me apart.
I know it’s weird to say this about myself. But I know who I am, and my whole life I’ve known I’m a little different.
I’ve always been a really big personality and I’m so grateful I found a way where I can use it to its full potential.

Yep!
I regularly photograph weddings throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland.
I also travel beyond. United States and abroad. I’ve traveled extensively throughout my life… always scouting that perfect backdrop.

Hundreds.
For an 8 hour wedding, I will provide anywhere from 550 - 850 edited images depending on factors like guest size, wedding party, etc.
Think about your favorite movie. The editor tells the story by deciding what actually makes it into the film. The best movies are always the best edited films. They allow you to feel like you are there.
I curate my catalogs with the same spirit. Except that I do include every signal detail, moment, and even guest. But only the best of these photos. I don’t want the best photos to get lost in the ones that are not as strong or repetitive.
Not including every image also allows me to spend more time and energy in crafting gorgeous edits for you.
The best wedding photographers in the world provide 400 - 800 images. I’m not quite there yet, but I’m still young.

Short Answer: Editorial & Photojournalistic
Long Answer: Editorial but more fun, more approachable, more you. I do love to explore the latest, creative trends, but I’m not necessarily chasing them. I’m carving my own unique path.
Photojournalistic, but more fun, more engaged. See a trend here? I do quietly capture the day during the most intimate moments. But I’ll get the wedding party hyped and your family laughing. Taking photos can be more than documenting the event. They can sometimes BE the event.
